Welcome to the German Pavilion - Germany Featured Country 2010!
It is a special pleasure for us to welcome you to the German Pavilion at Middle East Electricity 2010. Germany has been chosen as this years´ “Featured Country” – setting the course for a fruitful and strong German-Arab co-operation.
Germany is one of the five most important trade partners of the United Arab Emirates. Exports of electrical and electronic products from Germany to the United Arab Emirates have reached an export volume of nearly 1.3 billion Euro in 2008. And in spite of the recent economic situation, German exports in this segment have even increased by 10 percent during the first three quarters of 2009.
Within the German Pavilion, 67 exhibitors from Germany present latest developments mainly in the field of power engineering, energy-efficiency, electrical engineering and lighting. We would like to invite you to visit the German companies to find out more about new technologies and tailor-made solutions.
The efficient and intelligent use of energy is a corner stone for prosperous growth. Energy efficient products and solutions can help to improve energy generation, transmission and distribution as well as increase reliability and precision in industrial processes, infrastructure and buildings. The German-Arab co-operation is the key to an efficient and productive development – and we share the responsibility to create sustainable growth.
The trade fair Middle East Electricity is the hub for the electrical industry in the United Arab Emirates and the leading event for this sector in the region. German companies are a vital part of this success story: Products "made in Germany" stand for high quality and have a good reputation in the U.A.E..
The Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology (BMWi), the Association of the German Trade Fair Industry (AUMA) and the German Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers' Association (ZVEI) wish you a pleasant and successful visit to this presentation.
